The Company, firstly established in 1975, was initially oriented to serve the market of light carpentry and industrial plant installations & maintenance.

In 1981 the small company took a new legal form, specialized in the field of the heavy carpentry and started to focus on the manufacturing of pressure equipment and heat exchangers, while the installation activity grew in parallel.

From 1987 the company has been developing a well equipped machining department, today endowed with numerical control machinery for the manufacturing of large size pieces.

Ultimately, since 1999, playing an outstanding role in the supply of cryostats and vacuum equipment for an elite group of international companies and organizations, leading parts of today’s scientific research, SIMIC has been at the cutting edge of Europe’s projects in this field.
