The resource will be integrated into the maintenance and operation service of the plant’s technical systems, will be responsible for the operation, supervision and control of the steam plants and related systems. He/She will work in a team, on rotating shifts (day/night) ensuring, within his/her shift and in coordination with team and service activities, the proper operation of the plant’s thermal plants in compliance with safety, environmental and quality regulations.
He/She will be responsible for : – Continuous monitoring of plant operating parameters (pressures, temperatures, levels, flow rates, etc.); – Performing daily checks on technical water: chemical-physical analysis, conditioning agent dosage control and parametric checks (pH, hardness, conductivity, etc.); – Performing routine and extraordinary maintenance activities on the plants. Management of boiler start-up, shutdown, purging and adjustment activities; -compilation of operating logs and daily technical reporting.
Collaboration with the maintenance team for reporting faults, anomalies or malfunctions will be required, with particular attention to the correct application of safety procedures and current regulations (D.Lgs. 81/08).
He/She will support periodic inspection and scheduled maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- 2° degree license to operate steam thermal equipment (required, or in process of acquiring).
- Prior experience in similar role in industrial environments (preferably power generation, paper mills, food or chemical).
- Ability to work as part of a team on a continuous shift schedule.
- Basic knowledge of thermodynamics, water chemistry and automation systems.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and attention to safety.
- Knowledge and use of computer systems to perform reporting activities.
