The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising daily activities on the construction site, ensuring compliance with the schedule and technical standards.
They will plan the work and manage execution timelines, monitoring progress and resolving any issues that arise.
They will manage the construction site staff, supervising teams of laborers, welders, pipefitters, carpenters, and mechanical fitters, optimizing resource allocation.
He/she will verify the correct execution of work based on technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
He/she will collaborate with the Project Manager, the Technical Department, and the client’s Construction Management to ensure that work aligns with project plans, guaranteeing compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Manage on-site technical documentation (minutes, work reports, permits, lifting plans, etc.), and verify the procurement and inventory of materials and on-site equipment.
Ensure the quality of the work and compliance with technical and contractual regulations.
Requirements:
- Technical diploma (mechanical, electrical, or thermal engineering) or equivalent qualification;
- Safety training courses (Safety Officer, Site Coordinator);
- At least 3 years of prior experience as a Site Manager or Site Technician, preferably in the plant engineering or metalworking sector;
- Experience managing projects in sectors such as industrial piping, structural steelwork, mechanical/thermomechanical systems, or industrial assembly;
- Excellent knowledge of workplace safety regulations;
- Leadership and team management skills;
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Willingness to travel throughout the country.
