SIMIC participated with enthusiasm in the 3rd ITER Public-Private Fusion Workshop, held on 28–29 April 2026 at the ITER site in Cadarache, France.
Bringing together leading public institutions and private companies, the workshop was built around the theme “Fusion: A Joint Quest.”, reflecting the reality that progress toward fusion energy advances through multiple technical approaches, institutional models, and timelines.
Within this context, the company contributed directly to the global dialogue through the participation of Marianna Ginola, Head of Nuclear & Big Science, who was invited to speak in two panel sessions over the two-day event representing not only SIMIC but also the European Fusion Association (EFA): “Challenges and breakthroughs in the fusion supply chain” & “Best practices in public-private partnerships”.
SIMIC’s presence in this environment reflects its ability to operate at the intersection of advanced engineering and international collaboration, contributing to a collective effort where engagement itself is a strategic asset, and as a trusted partner in nuclear and Big Science projects.
