The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating technical drawings for mechanical components and assemblies, collaborating with the team to define design solutions and prepare production documentation. As part of the Technical Department, they will report directly to the Department Manager.
They will create 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software and produce detailed drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications. They will support the design process and collaborate with engineers and production, managing and updating technical documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a mechanical engineering technician diploma;1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mechanical/metalworking sector;Excellent knowledge of 2D/3D technical drawing and CAD/SolidWorks software;Knowledge of tolerances (GD&T), materials, surface treatments, and mechanical processes;Experience in creating bills of materials (BOM); Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of technical English;Ability to work in a team, meet deadlines, and comply with ISO standards in mechanical design.
