After years of hard and exciting work, the last of 10 Toroidal Field Coils was delivered to ITER!

 

SIMIC was one of the main contractors of this incredibly challenging job, starting with the prototype and series production of the Radial Plates and then concluded with the cold test and insertion of the magnets into their cases in our Marghera workshops in 2023.

Thanks to F4E, ITER and all Suppliers who took part in this great job and without whom this goal would not have been possible!

 

This work was a great opportunity for SIMIC to grow and innovate and be ready for new the challenges that are already under way!
